Our People

Our people

Each day our educators bring with them their enthusiasm and knowledge and experience in childcare to provide the children with a variety of stimulating learning experiences. We work within approved educational frameworks and with the families and the community at large, to ensure that the children are meeting their milestones in a warm and cooperative environment that promotes inclusiveness. Our educators appreciate and encourage children to live in the moment as we value individuality and will work with a wide range of needs.

What makes you love what you do?
Milestones Armidale Early Learning is my second home. It is wonderful and important for me to come into work every day and interact and build relationships with the children, families and co-workers.  I have worked here for 11 years in March 2020 and during my time here I have been lucky enough to experience being both in the room, exploring and researching with the children, and exploring the administration side of early childhood. This year I began my role as Centre Manager after being in the Assistant Centre Manager position for a year ½.

What has been your most memorable moments being a childcare educator?
The best part of early childhood for me is seeing children start their learning journey here at Milestones and grow into successful and confident individuals.  I always enjoy preparing for and being apart of the yearly graduation when our children celebrate their time here, its amazing to look back at everything they have achieved.

Why should parents choose this centre for their child?
Milestones Armidale has a reputation for having kind and dedicated educators who are highly skilled and committed to providing the best care possible for each child. We have a strong team which focuses on igniting a love of learning and introducing experiences that encourage research, investigation and building knowledge and skills. We like to make Milestones Armidale feel like a home away from home, building trusting and mutual relationships with children and families to best meet their individual needs.
